Kayu manis

Binomial Name:
Cinnamomum burmannii - for Indonesian Cinnamon, Padang Casia.
Cinnamomum loureiroi - for Saigon/ Vietnamese Cinnamon.
Cinnamomum verum - for Ceylon Cinnamon, the true Cinnamon.

Form :
Dried stick of Bark or Tree's skin of Cinnamon tree.

Storage :
Keep the dried bark in an airtight cool dry storage.

How to Use :
- As a garnish.
- Grind the stick to use the Cinnamon powder.
- 1 -3 inches equal to a half teaspoons of ground Cinnamon.

Substitute :
- 1 teaspoon ground Nutmeg for 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon.
- 1 teaspoon ground Allspice for 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon.

Sweets Stella

Stella the Amber Sweets bear loves enjoy the Spring fresh air.
She wears her favorite Charcoal bonnet and Lemonade dress, also a pair of pink ribbon.
Her dress and bonnet is decorated  with a  pink Dahlia flower and a pair of Lavender stems embroideries.
She also beautifies herself with some pink Dahlia flowers on her ears and toes.

Cilantro / Coriander

Coriander, Chinese Parsley

Binomial Name:
Coriandrum sativum.

Form :
Leave, Stalk and Dried Seeds of Cilantro plants.
the dried seeds usually called as Coriander seeds.

Storage :
Keep the leave, stalks or the cuts in an airtight storage and freeze it to maintain the freshness.
Kepp the dried seeds in an airtight cool dry storage.

How to Use :
- The Cilantro leaf is edible raw after cleanly wash and cut.
- As a garnish.
- 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh Cilantro = 1/2 Tablespoon dried Cilantro flakes
- The Coriander seeds usually low heat toasted before grind for cooking to bring up the aroma.

Substitute :
- Parsley for the Cilantro leave and stalk.
- 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds for 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds.
- 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds for 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds.
- 3/4 teaspoons Cumin seeds for 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds.
